In our quest to provide you with the best possible service, we have compiled a list of answers to some of our most commonly asked questions. 1. What is Virtual Pet Adoptions?
A website that offers the most complete place to find a pet in the Bay Area.

2. Why was Virtual Pet Adoptions created?
Was created to help people find adoptable animals in one easy to use website. We hope to save the lives of thousands of adoptable animals, by making the search for a new pet very easy.

3. Who participates in Virtual Pet Adoptions?
Rescue and shelter organizations throughout the greater San Francisco Bay Area.

4. How many animals will a visitor typically find on the site?
On any given day will have an average of 800 adoptable animals available for viewing. The numbers go up and down as our rescue/shelter groups add new pets and take down adopted pets. Please check back as often as possible so you won't miss anybody.

5. How was the site funded?
The site was funded through a partnership between the East Bay SPCA and Pet Food Express.

6. How can other groups get onto this site?
We want Virtual Pet Adoptions to be the most complete site to find a pet in the greater San Francisco Bay Area. Shelters and rescue groups interested in joining Virtual Pet Adoptions can contact the Petmaster. We're always happy to find new groups interested in helping find forever homes for animals in need. 7. Volunteers
All the shelters and rescue groups need volunteers for every type of duty. Click on the shelter locator and find a shelter or rescue group near you to volunteer---you'll be glad you did.
